# Introduction

## **What is Veilnyx?**

Veilnyx is a multi-chain modular privacy framework. It uses zero knowledge and threshold cryptography to enable compliant [private transactions](https://labyrinth.gitbook.io/labyrinth/labyrinth-sdk-for-developers/quickstart/private-transactions) for humans and machines, supported by a decentralized compliance network.

Veilnyx aims to make compliant privacy a core part of any on-chain activity. It envisions an on-chain address having a parallel, private account layer by default.

Veilnyx is a plug-and-play solution for developers in various domains, including DeFi, social, AI/ML, DAOs, and more.

For more details, check the[ whitepaper](https://arxiv.org/pdf/2307.00521.pdf) and[ compliance paper](https://arxiv.org/pdf/2311.08167.pdf).

## Using Veilnyx

#### Veilnyx App

Veilnyx is available via [private beta access](https://labyrinth.ac/) before the mainnet launch 🚀. \
The Veilnyx app offers a user-friendly, private, secure, and compliant interface where users can explore the compliance dashboard and various applications within the Veilnyx ecosystem. These include use cases such as Transfer, Swap, Staking, Yield Farming, Lending, Batch Transactions for Payroll, and Token Vesting.

#### Veilnyx SDK

Veilnyx offers an Typescript SDK, to enable dApp clients to integrate private payments and wider private DeFi ecosystem integrations. For detailed instructions, visit the Veilnyx[ SDK Documentation](/veilnyx-sdk/what-is-veilnyx-sdk.md).\
\
We’ll use our [Discord](https://discord.gg/zB5JJfZZkJ) to have technical discussions with our community, share protocol updates, announce opportunities, and solve any queries related to SDK, app, or compliance. We’re excited for you to join us!

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.veilnyx.com/veilnyx-overview/introduction.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
